Battery energy capacity and battery current capability both matter. The inverter operates from 40-60Vdc and supports up to 200A hybrid charging, so the battery, BMS, cabling and protection devices must be designed for the actual charge and discharge demand. A 48V inverter at this power level can draw substantial DC current under heavy AC loads. Battery capacity should therefore be based on desired backup duration, while current ratings should be checked against the largest expected load and charging mode. Current capability is therefore as important as battery kWh when the inverter is heavily loaded.
