Native 120/240Vac split-phase output matches common North American homes, covering 120V branch loads and 240V appliances from the same inverter. HESP4840U120-HUS through HESP4865U140-HUS cover both 120V branch loads and 240V equipment.


2x Peak Power for 10-Second Startup Surges
The published 10-second surge window provides extra inrush power for brief startup events while continuous load planning remains based on rated output. The 6.5kW HESP4865U140-HUS has short-duration headroom for appliances or equipment with noticeable startup surge.

Dual MPPT for Flexible High-Voltage PV Strings
Multiple independent trackers make it easier to divide a larger PV field by orientation, string group or module condition. Two independent MPPT channels accept up to 6000W + 6000W of PV input, with 32A input current per channel and a 120–500V MPPT operating window.


Up to 140A Battery Current on the 6–6.5kW Models
The 6kW and 6.5kW HUS models raise battery current to 140A, giving larger 48V banks more charge and discharge capability than the 4kW and 5kW versions. Maximum grid/generator charging and charge/discharge current reaches 140A on the 6kW and 6.5kW models, while the 4kW and 5kW versions are rated at 120A.
Expand from Split-Phase to a Multi-Unit Three-Phase System
The HESP HUS platform can start as split-phase and expand through parallel units to higher capacity or a configured three-phase system. The HESP 4–6.5kW HUS supports 1–6 units in parallel, and the datasheet states that a three-phase output can be formed with two or more units.
Independent Breakers for Safer Power-Path Isolation
Independent breaker protection separates the major power paths, providing clearer isolation points for commissioning, maintenance and fault service. Combined with the 65–140Vac phase-voltage input range, the design supports residential backup and generator-assisted operation with clearly separated power paths.
