IP65 Outdoor Protection
IP65 enclosure protection lets the AEP 6kW operate in more exposed locations than SRNE's indoor-only off-grid models, widening placement options where dust and water exposure must be considered. The inverter is specified for -40°C to 60°C operation with derating above 45°C; installation still needs to follow the required mounting and clearance conditions.

Generator Peak-Shaving
Generator peak-shaving uses battery and inverter power to cover short load spikes, reducing the generator's temporary power burden during demand peaks. The AEP datasheet explicitly includes a generator peak-shaving function intended to reduce diesel-generator load pressure.
60V PV Start-Up
A 60V PV start-up threshold allows solar charging to begin with a lower array voltage, which is useful during weaker irradiance or with shorter string configurations. The AEP 6kW uses a 65–450V MPPT range and supports up to 12kW PV access across two MPPT inputs.

12kW Peak Output
The AEP 6kW can supply up to 12kW peak power for 10 seconds, giving pumps, compressors and other high-inrush loads clear startup reserve. Continuous operation remains based on the 6kW rated output, so the surge capability is reserved for short demand spikes rather than normal load sizing.
135A Battery Throughput
Up to 135A charge/discharge current gives the AEP 6kW stronger battery-side energy transfer during charging and sustained backup use. SRNE lists 135A for maximum battery discharge, grid/generator charging and PV charging; these are separate operating-path limits and should not be added together.
HOME LOAD Mode Prevents Unwanted Reverse Flow
HOME LOAD anti-backflow control helps prevent unintended reverse power flow at the external-load connection under the configured operating mode. Load-side power direction remains controlled when PV, battery and AC sources are operating together.
