HESP 4-6.5kW
Single/Split Phase Low Voltage Hybrid Inverter
HJP | Split-phase | 2 MPPTs
Native 100/200V Split-Phase Output for Japan
Native 100/200Vac split-phase output matches Japan's common residential voltage architecture, while the supported three-phase configuration covers additional load arrangements. The HESP-HJP family is built around Japanese voltage requirements, supporting 100/200Vac split-phase output as well as 100/173V three-phase operation for residential and multi-phase installations.

10-Second Peak Output for High-Inrush Loads
HESP 4–6.5kW HJP reserves additional short-duration output for motor, compressor and other high-inrush starts while continuous sizing remains based on rated power. The 4kW, 5kW and 6kW HJP models support peak output at twice rated power for 10 seconds, while the 6.5kW HESP4865U140-HJP is specified at 1.8 times rated power.
Independent Breakers for Load, Mains, Generator and Battery
HESP 4–6.5kW HJP separates key power paths with independent breaker protection, providing clearer isolation for commissioning, service and fault handling. Load, mains, generator and battery circuits are each equipped with independent circuit-breaker protection in the HJP design, simplifying isolation during installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

150% Unbalanced-Load Support for Uneven Branch Loads
HESP 4–6.5kW HJP is designed to handle uneven phase demand without requiring all branch loads to remain perfectly balanced. The HJP datasheet explicitly lists support for 150% single-phase unbalanced load.
Two-Unit Path to Three-Phase Output
Parallel expansion lets a Japanese split-phase installation grow into a three-phase system without moving to a different inverter family. The HESP-HJP supports 1–6 units in parallel, and two or more units can be configured for three-phase output.
140A Multi-Source Charging for 48V Batteries
Up to 140A charging from grid, generator or hybrid operation gives the 48V battery bank stronger recovery capability when solar production or utility supply changes. The HESP-HJP uses the same high charging-current ceiling across these source paths, while actual settings must remain within the battery and BMS limits.
