IP65 gives the enclosure a higher level of protection against dust and water ingress for utility rooms, covered outdoor areas or farm installations. It does not mean the off grid inverter can be mounted anywhere without protection. Cable entries, mounting orientation, direct sun, standing water, ventilation and required clearances still matter. SRNE also specifies a -40°C to 60°C operating range with derating above 45°C, so thermal conditions should be considered at the location.
